Fuse Splitboard Bindings

Tried these bindings out for the first time last weekend. All we've got is spring/corn snow in the PNW. These bindings and my NS summit splitboard far exceeded my expectations given the conditions. Albeit not a true test of what it's capable of. The bent metal hardware is really solid, quality stuff. My one complaint: The pins are designed to release inwards (towards the opposite foot) in snowboard mode. The rear binding pin clashes with the voile heel riser when removing/installing the pin. I run 5° forward angle on my back foot, 0° or negative angle would eliminate this problem (not my riding style). I had to swap pins (L to R, and visa versa) so they release outwards and now there is no real good way to secure the pin lanyard to the binding. A minor complaint for an otherwise quality product. One more minor complaint, the bindings are really loud when they contact the plastic voile riser plate (flat ground touring, when the riser bar is down).

Paired up with my Venture Divide, the Fuse bindings boosted both touring and descending performance significantly -- shaving much noticeable weight, increasing the stiffness of the board-binding interface in descent mode, and looking dank to boot. Pull the trigger on these pricey, but so worth it dawgs and sh@#can your Voile slider tracks -- you won't regret it one bit.

I'm extremely happy with these bindings so far, they are a major improvement over standard bindings with voile sliders tracks. These are about a pound lighter than my old setup. They sit much lower on the board in ride mode and are much more stable in skinning mode. The pin system is also a major improvement. My splitboard finally feels like my resort board.
