This is a great and loud whistle! I keep it on the outside of my pfd for whitewater kayaking and it comes in useful for overall communication on the river and emergency preparedness. I need a whistle that can be heard over rapids on a big river and this whistle accomplishes just that.

This whistle is incredibly loud. Tried it out yesterday on a hike and was amazed at how far away my hiking partner could hear the whistle. Very light.

This is a great whistle! It sounds very loud with a relatively small amount of breath - important consideration in a true emergency situation. I've bought smaller whistles advertised as loud, but they require a strong push of breath.

This whistle is VERY loud. If blown hard in an enclosed space you might sustain hearing damage. I'm serious!

There's not competition for this whistle. the noise could break your ears in close quarters. It's a must have tool for survival and in situations when you need to be heared.
