As others have commented, they were coming apart after the first wash. No care instructions included. I guess maybe you should not machine dry them.

These socks are definitely comfortable out of the package. BEWARE though, after the first wash they started to come apart. I have a small hole near a seam on top of the big toe. Also the material on the sock has started to 'unravel'....small threads on the whole sock are protruding outwards making the sock now look like a pubescent unshaven boy with a scraggly chin. I definitely will not buy these socks again.

After one use, they look like I may get two or three more. The socks look good and were comfortable but they just won't last.

The socks looked great and I was happy to find a sock to replace Smartwool but this is not it. After the first day I wore the socks the heel and ball of the foot looked to be about 75% worn. I will be lucky to get three more uses out of them. Otherwise they seem to be comfortable and perform well.

Mountian gear and TNF need to get up some sizing info since I ordered the wrong size- I got a med. which only fits like size 6.5-8.5 or something like that. I need a size large since I have size 10 feet! But I kept the socks since they are so nice and I hate sending stuff back. I've run in them and they cushion well, support well and wick moisture and dont smell too bad afterwards. Great socks.
