These are nice but they are on the small side of size 10 (my usual size) so the side pockets are basically useless. I'm 5'8" and the length is perfect for hiking (i like them slightly shorter than regular pants, hem picks up less dirt/mud/water).

I bought these and a pair of Mountain Hardwear Capris for my daughter to wear climbing and camping. She loves both. These get a little more use right now because of the cold weather.
