I first saw the "Venture" in The North Face store on the ground floor of the John Hancock building in Chicago this summer and liked it however, the fact that the hood was not a stow-away was a major con for me. I wanted the more casual look of the stored hood instead of the more functional outdoor look so that the jacket would be more appropriate for the workplace as well as functional. I didn't see the "Resolve" there but found it online... Problem solved with the hood and the sale price sealed the deal!
