... exchanging the rings for screw-carbiners? That way you could make it non-extendable by tying a glove-hitch at each of these (which are much closer to you than the three ancher-points)?!

First use was a snap. Great design with enough variety to cover almost any anchor situation.

This product is indispensable! It makes setting up an anchor fast and easy and is more adjustable for various directional changes than competing products. It permits very rapid changeovers at the belay station. It's expensive, but until someone comes out with a less expensive product that performs as well, worth the extra change.
