I had two pairs I wore trekking across Scandinavia. They WERE great pants, quality construction and materials, stretchy. This latest pair seem totally different...lighter and less sturdy material but still stretchy. These pants are so much more thinner and flimsy and sized differently compared to my older pairs, I wonder if prAna lost their traditional quality and standards control.

I am very pleased with these pants. It is hard to find a decent pair of nylon cargo pants but these fit the bill. They are light enough but still tough, the stretch is nice, and plenty of pockets. They are a good length I'm 6 feet and they are perfect for me. The only con is the velcro fly which can bunch up.

The men's Zion stretch pant has been totally restyled this year. For someone like me who has athletic legs I loved the previous styles comfort and fit (even though I had to sinch up the waist). This new style is longer and narrower with a flaired bell bottom cuff. Disco pants for bean poles. Consider return postage before buying this item.

Worth every penny!

Comments about prAna Stretch Zion Pant - Men's:

A very well designed pant for technical rock climbing. Foremost, I appreciate the unrestricted movement allowed by this pant. I also like the tough fabric that has just the right amount of stretch and the double knees (which always seem to go first on all my pants). The cargo pockets hold an energy bar nicely without binding. I put in six weeks full time this winter on the 40 grit monzonite of Joshua Tree, Zion adventure groveling and Indian Creek towers, plus two months of weekending in the Black Canyon and still no blow outs. My only complaint is the velcro fly which bunches when reclosed (unless the buckle is unsnapped as well) and the slightly bulky and unstylish fastex buckle.
