I'm new to aid climbing and spent a great deal of time researching aiders. My decision to purchase the Yates ladder was finalized from a friend who has done hundreds of big wall climbs. I've played with the non-ladder type aiders and tied my own - the yates ladders are by far the best given my limited experience. My favorite feature is the ladder that eliminates the need to mess around getting in and out of the step.

Service & Delivery comments:

I ordered this one rush delivery and it came in two days as promised, just in time for the weekend. Brand new and in great condition. I wish Mountain Gear didn't include the same literature in each order it seems to be a waste of paper - although I love getting the catalogs.
