Loved these boots! Very, very warm and comfortable. A little stiff in the shins at first, but by the second use, completely fine! Wore these for hours while walking on packed snow/ice at the '08 World Ice Art Championships in Fairbanks, AK. Recommend these highly.

Great shoe! I agree, though, the strings and tie are not my favorite. May do the same and cut it out. otherwise, a wonderfully comfortable and warm snowtire for my feet!

So far the fit and walk in the shoe is great! I don't feel like I'm wearing clunky snow shoes, but comfortable shoes to walk or snow shoe in.
