Awesome duffel. It has shoulder straps unlike any other duffel. lugging around a heavy duffel just by the handles is quite difficult for long walks. this duffel's shoulder straps make it way easier.

even though the north face has sold out hard core this is still a well made bag. The zipper pulls are lost with ease is really the only thing I can say as a con. The loving baggage people at the airlines can do what so ever they wish and this bag will laugh at them.

This bag was indispensable while traveling in Northern India and Nepal. The compression straps allow you to lave some room but keep things from shifting. Works great in canoe trips to keep my gear dry! Easy to transport with three carry options, a shoulder strap, handles on the ends or wear it like a back pack. Can also double as an anchor when fully loaded to keep your yak from wandering off.

I have used this duffel to transport my gear for at least 8 years. It is very well traveled, consistently hauling the 50 lbs. airline limit and it's still in great shape.
