  • Safe on Gore-Tex®, Ultrex® and Entrant® and other waterproof/breathable laminates and coatings

Works great - multi-year user of Nikwax
By TerraTowVerified Purchaser from New Jersey on 9/26/2008
Best Uses:
Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather
Describe Yourself:
Casual Adventurer
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I have been using Nikwax TechWash and WashIn for years. It revives the waterproofness on my high-tech fabrics and makes my basic nylon fabrics waterproof for a limited time. If you only have a nylon jacket with you, this is a great way to add temporary waterproofness!

This stuff worked just like it said it would. It brought my old Columbia jacket back to life.

Awesome on my Arc'Teryx Sidewinder
By ski-fiendVerified Reviewer from Whistler, BC on 6/21/2006
Pros:
easy to use
Best Uses:
Backpacking, Hiking, Mountaineering, Skiing/Snowboarding

I used this stuff on my favorite Kermit ski jacket this season, and it rocked. I had total strangers on the lift asking me how new my jacket was because of how much beading action there was. They were shocked to find out it was four seasons old! Since then, I've done my OR bivvy sack also, and had similar great results.
