TX Direct Spray by Nikwax really puts scotch gard to shame! It takes such a short amount of time... can even put the garment into the drier a few minutes after you have treated it! After it dries, you know it's there... you can feel a soft waxy coating on the fabric. This is great! I will continue to use it on our snow clothes! It repels water very well. It does wear off after a few washes, but it is well worth the price! (I am also now washing our outer garments with Nikwax's Tech Wash, so hopefully it won't wash off quite so fast!)
