The rope silo, usually used in canyoneering applications, is also very useful for mountaineering/rock climbing, and is a great tool for top rop climbing also. Keeps the rope tangle free...no more toss and tangle. Simply stuff the rope like you would a jacket into a stuff sack and use the lenghth you need whenever you need it leaving the rest of the rope safe and secure in the silo. For those who dont know about it, the rope silo is absolutely awesome. Well worth the cash and kudos to Tom Jones for inventing such a product.
