The bag is sized for 200' of 6mm pull cord, however, I just used it with 30m of 8mm rope--it performed flawlessly. Rappeling with the bag clipped to your harness isn't bad at all. The rope flowed easily from the bag and through the rappel device. It seems a good solution for eliminating tangles and tricky rope throwing down narrow slots. Obviously, you have to be careful that the pull cord is at least as long as the rappel rope!
