Used it for two seasons until I broke it stuffing my helmet in my pack at the end of the season. It has saved my face innumerable times from exploding ice and ice fall from my tools. I couldn't wear goggles without fogging and eye glasses didn't protect my face. It's the hot lick.
I can't believe I'm the only person I know who uses this thing. I never get cuts on my face, which was routine before. Maybe I am just an ice basher, but I will not climb ice without it now. It also works great when dodging shrapnel on belay.
Installation required drilling into my helmet (The Elios), but it was pretty easy. Anti-fog coating still works pretty well into my second season with it.
