the anastazis are fantastic until you put them into a crack and torque, just too sensitive for full crack work, but now enter the Galileo and put the pain behind you the much stiffer board has addresed the problem of the anastazis suptle and very sensitive board ,and kept all the advantages of the aformentioned shoe ,and gone one better, the rubber is just as sticky but seems harder wearing, they will take a while to break in but its worth the wait.

Outstanding shoe
By Joe RoclimerVerified Reviewer from Boone, NC on 4/27/2006
Pros:
Comfortable, Good grip
Cons:
velcro straps a bit long

Excellent for bouldering, sport climbing. Shoes feel supportive enough for multi-pitch though I haven't tried it yet. Tiny edges are no problem. Very comfortable, rubber is super sticky. Previous shoes I've owned: Boreal Ace, Sportiva Katana & Enduro. Galileo beats them hands down. I would not hesitate to purchase this shoe again.

Pros:
Good grip, great edgeing
Cons:
Causes sweating
Best Uses:
Bouldering, Extreme conditions, hard grade and slab

i have had these shoes for about 8 months now and i have never had any problem with them, they are a great shoe and have helped me push my limits beond 5.12. they have been pretty good for crack although they are more of a sport climbing shoe. dont bring these on long multi poitch route, they will leave your feet hurting at the end of the day.

By Craggie LaurenVerified Purchaser from Austin, TX on 4/4/2006
Pros:
Comfortable, Good grip
Cons:
Takes a while to break in
Best Uses:
Anything that will push your limits, Edging, Extreme conditions, smearing

They proved to be wonderful shoes to compete in; they are very comfortable compared to Evolv's Predators, as well as having significantly better rubber.
