This shoe was awesome but.... all the rubber started coming off within the first month of using them. but other then that i loved them.
These are a bit asymmetrical for my morton's toe, and so my second toe is a bit bent to get a good fit, but I find that they climb really well, particularly on granite slabs (face). Very sensitive. I also like the new Vibram XS-Grip compound.
Sizing is a bit weird - I have heard that most sportiva shoes are now bigger in a given size than before. My feet measure 9.5 US and in the old purple mythos I found 42 to be comfortable and 41.5 to be tight. In the barracudas I wear 40.5 which is a bit painful, but not so bad after breaking in. Have not done a lot of crack climbing in them yet.
Just remember this is a European design shoe so it is usually a bit more narrow than your regular shoe. If you have a narrow to medium shoe size this shoe will work great for you from anything from crack to slab.
I love these shoes for multipitch face and crack as well as craging test pieces, just order 23 sizes down.

I bought these shoes not long ago, and so far I am very happy with my purchase. My only concern is that these shoes WILL STRECH a good HALF SIZE so make sure you size them down atleast that much or if you like a tighter fit, maybe a full size. Otherwise these shoes smear, edge, and perform very well. The web rubber tightens the toe box and also provides a grip in unexpected positions.
The shoe directs the toe perfect for small ledges. I am able to hold ledges I never before thought I could. These shoes are awsome for tough climbs. I suggest paying the money and getting these shoes. It is worth it in the end.
