Bought these on sale and they have turned out to be a real bargain. As a beginning top-rope climber, they have been fantastic on 5.8-5.11 climbs. They are really comfortable during climbing but pinch on the outsides of the feet, just below the ankle when walking around and belaying. The solution? Just wear them for climbing!
Recommended purchase for climbers on a tight budget.
Very solid. Tight on the sides. A little too rounded on the front and insided front. Somewhat bulky. Good secondary shoe for gym climbing.
Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to try these yet, but they fit great [...] and arrived as described.
not that bad for moderate sport climbing and cracks
Perform well in all but the most technical situations. Size small, they stretch. Some delamination and sub par construction compared to other Sportivas
La Sportiva has always been one of my favorite brands for longer multi-pitch climbs.
These are nice leather lace-up climbing shoes. [...] They seem as good as all the other leather lace-up rock shoes.
I went out and climbed some 5.8s and enjoyed these shoes. Not as grippy as some old montrails I had but overall pretty pleased with them. It was a cold day so the breathablitiy wasnt easy to measure.
Used for last year (climbing average 1 to 4 times a week consistly.) Climbed Red River Gorge (Sand Stone), and the gym. The are comfortable enough to wear for a hour at a time. Took about 8 months before sole started to peel around the sole alittle.
