Sending these back (and I did not even use) - for what I needed (for rock scrambling and mountain trekking) -- these were too short. They did not appear sturdy enough. And I don't like that they tie under the boot ... with a flimsy-looking lace.

I liked them.

none so far

I only used them for one vacation so far so I can't comment on durability, but they held up for 6 days through all kinds of terrain and weather, including better than expected performance in the rain with shorts. I like that they are shorter than regular gaiters, but a little more height than some of the ankle gaiters I have seen.

These gaiters were perfect for what I wanted. They are cool enough to wear in the summer and tough enough to withstand heavy brush when off trail.

The gaiters stay in place and work well with both boots and shoes. I will probably use these to keep snow out when jogging this winter.

This is a well-made gaiter. I wore these sun-up to sun-down on a 30-mile hike in a high-desert (7,000 ft. elevation, 95 to 100 degrees F) setting in July. The velcro kept sealed the entire trip (no dust, rocks or brush got into my boots). The gaiter material is light-weight but very sturdy -- it kept my feet from overheating but survived scrambling over rough granite, kept the prickly-bush and sage away from my calves, and even survived an encounter with a small rattlesnake (3 feet long - he missed and just bounced off my leg/gaiter as I was in the process of jumping out of my shorts). The lace hook, the elastic and the strings are all very sturdy and kept the gaiters well sealed around my boot tops -- they never rode up at all.

My only complaint was the size. I am a large guy -- size 15(US) boot. I got the largest size available and still the top of the gaiter did not fit around my calf at it's highest point. There was almost not enough string to go under my boot heel and still snap/velcro the gaiter together. I was able to make it work, but it would have been nice to have a little more room.

Otherwise I could not have been more pleased -- well worth the money spent.
