These are the best gaiters in the world. On a recent Rainier trip, I took these, while my friends took there regular crocs. Both of them cramponed their gaiters, and tore them. Mine had no holes, and had very little visible wear. I wear them on alpine climbs, glacier trips, and regular backpacking trips. They are perfect for any kind of activity that requires gaiters.

I have them in a smaller size but it did not fit over heavey winter clothing

Barely fit over ruber pac boots. Had to make a splice but this worked very well and couldn't have gotten along wihtout them on our winter hunting trip.
