I purchased this because it looked sturdy and well made. It was, but with a slight drawback for me. The material and workmanship is excellent. The design was sleek and the adjustable bottom strap kept the gaiter snug to my boots. The bottom strap to my boot size felt true to size.
BUT - the top closure (that goes around the calf) can only close so far with the buckle. I say, a inch or so. I have thinner legs and it wouldnt pull snug. I was expecting something that could be fully adjusted, not just an inch in. Maybe a drawstring cord or velcro tab pull would be good. Needless to say I returned it and must continue to search. Those of you with fuller calf areas might not have this problem.
Construction, design, and material was excellent. If it wasnt for the closure I would have kept them. I would recommend these, but with caution to skinnier folks.

The snow was a foot deep and I dreaded going out in it. Put on the new gaiters and no snow went visiting my toes. That was great as my feet stayed dry and toasty. These are great and should have gotten them years before.
Thanks so much for a great product. Won't go out into the snow again without them.
