I like the fit, sits all the way on, so I'm not afraid it will fall off when I'm kayaking. I usually hate wearing hats, but this one is fun to wear. It adjusts well.

The Marmot PreCip hat is a winner. When it rains or snows the hat keeps your head dry, when the wind blows it keeps it warm. There is a mesh on the inside to facilitate breathing and cooling. The head band is a soft velvet like material. The "fits all" adjustment is elastic with an ingenios way to tuck it out of sight. I wear it all winter

This hat has several advantages. It has a flex adjustable strap so it can stay on in high winds. Becasue of this smart strap you can also combine it with bandana or balaclava for cold days. It is waterproof and breathable which is nice for winter sports or rainy days.
