Nice climbing shoe. I would easily climb 5.6 with these. They lace up tight and feel much like a climbing shoe, without the pain. I got them a half size smaller and still feel comfortable doing miles long approaches.
If you are not a climber...sorry about that:(
you will like the style, comfort and durability.

[...]Excited upon delivery, but my feet are difficult to please and wearing them around the house for a couple of hours gave me great pause, don't think on the trail my feet would survive. Once again my feet disappointed me, unfortunately I'm returning them and looking for something else which might work.

Bought these shoes for trip to Grand Tetons. Climbed the Grand with just these shoes, and they performed great. Super traction on the rocks, felt very comfortable. Feet never felt better in them. Went sport climbing the next day and forgot to pack climbing shoes. Had to climb with these shoes on, and they had no problem with 5.8 - 5.9 routes.

I have been looking for the right shoe for long day hikes, light backpacking, and off trail scrambling in the mountains. So far this shoe seems to fit the bill well. It is somewhat cushy on the foot, but has quite a bit of support and sufficient rigidity for off-trail. Traction is excellent. The laces allow adjustment of the fit around the forefoot, depending on the terrain.

I cannot recommend these shoes enough. They are cool looking, comfortable, extremely stable, and provide great traction. I now have two pairs so I will have an extra when my first pair wears out.

the sole/cushioning/lacing makes them a very comfortable walking shoe in all dry terrians with loads upto 25kg above this the sole is to soft (and you need some ankle support). grip is excellent and sole isn't being shredded by the pins on my pedals either. not water resistant but that means your foot doesn't overheat like the old 510 mtn masters

These shoes are amazing. Not only are they great aproach shoes, they are great for hiking as well as for easier climbs. They're sticky enough on the rocks that I can climb in them up the the more challenging 5.10's, anything above that and I switch to my Moccasym's. Overall I love these shoes, they are very comfortable for the hike out to the rock. As for the durability I have only had them a few weeks so I don't know for sure, but they appear to be very sturdy and well built.

An exceptional approach shoe or midweight hiker that hugs the foot with a tenacious but comfortable grip. The climber's asymetric toe box locks down the forefoot but leaves plenty of wiggle room for the toes. The shoe is lasted for low to medium volume feet and has outstanding ankle support for a lowcut hiker. It will handle all terrain but is not intended for heavy backpacking loads. When fitted with a custom footbed such as Sole or Montrail, the package is without equal.

These shoes fit well and are very supportive. Tried them in the gym and they worked well. Have not tried on real rock, but expect strong bouldering performance. It will be interesting to see if their heel stability holds up under the load of a pack.
Only drawback is that the soles collect and hold mud.

Wore this shoe for the first time last night to start breaking them in, just running the kids around town. Got home and didnt want to take them off! Excellent shoe. Went climbing around this morning and they just keep getting better. For me the best thing about these shoes is the fit with the lace to toe design. With most low top shoes when you really crank down on the laces to tighten things up it just crushes the top of your foot, not the case with these.
I dont know how they do it but I realy pulled hard on the laces to lock things down and the pressure is distributed EVENLY over the top of my foot, awesome!
Get these, I dont think you will be dissapointed.

Have only used them so far in Arizona's Sycamore Canyon on a day trip but the Camp Fours seemed sticky on the sandstone and limestone as advertised.
Stopped by Fossil Creek and they stuck well on the travertine, limestone and basalt in this canyon along the creek bottom.
Next test, canyoneering side canyons off of Oak Creek Canyon and the Sierra Anchas Wilderness
Hike in, Climb it, Party on! Nice shoes!
