Lace up adjustable for comfort or conditions, feels like a climbing shoe a bit narrow. C- on edging and B- smearing. Kinda stiff at first. Break in took a while. Somewhat positive on dry rock. I would not recommend this for wet conditions. Great look and protection from missteps, very durable. Order a half size up from your regular size. These are better for all around use or fast hike, than approach. Fine tune the sole. Put some real sticky rubber on this one and I'll take it up a star.
