Pros:
Stable, comfortable
Cons:
Puffy tongue
Best Uses:
Day hikes, Everyday

I wear this shoe as a day hiker, everyday casual shoe or ultralight backpacking shoe. Excellent stability and torsional rigidity, with superb comfort. Good lacing system permits fit using various sock combinations. I am now an avid fan of La Sportiva based on their mountaineering boots, which are the finest available. Though these shoes run small, the European half sizes allow a custom fit.

a separate sole
By slugVerified Purchaser from new mexico on 1/29/2006
Pros:
Comfortable, Good arch support, Good cushioning, looks, Non-slip sole, Stable
Cons:
Poorly made, soles separated after 3 weeks
Best Uses:
Day hikes, Everyday, Wet weather

I'm a La Sportiva fan- hiking boots, approach shoes, climbing shoes all do well.

Sadly the soles on these shoes separated after only 3 weeks so I returned them.

I received a lot of compliments on their appearance.

They are a bit stiff for every day wear but nice for hiking and walking.
