First time with La Sportiva and they look very well made and fit true to size. Although they havent seen dirt yet I can tell they will be ideal for casual hiking on dirt and rocks with a light day pack. Good firm sole and tough tread for support and traction on jagged rocks. I can't speak to durability, but do look like they are very well made.

La Sportiva shoes/boots regardless of the model always seem to fit my feet and they have never required a break in period like most boots. These Zodiacs are no exception. A good price on a very good and versatile shoe.

Have had these over a year after owning some La Sportiva North Domes. A comfortable shoe that I wear almost everyday. Great for day hiking in warm to moderate climates, travel, wearing to work or even in the gym. The soles are not as sticky as the ones on the North Domes but they do give you confidence when on wet rocks in a stream and the soles don't leave marks on floors. More breathable than the North Domes too. Probably would not do that well in very wet environments or rough trails for extended hikes. Great fit for my feet (normal width, low volume)
