So far these babies are perfect for anything from casual daily wear to short hikes to vertical ascents. I haven't run them yet on anything more than a double digit hike, yet...but speaking of 'running', I have actually run in them and they seem well suited for street or trail--if not a bit heavy.

The only thing so far that blind-sided me was the slickness if these things when wet. Continue with caution once you get them in water. I found this out at the bottom of a cave in the Ozarks...

In all honesty, I am thinking of grabbing a few more pairs of these so when Scarpa stops making them, I'll be set for a little while. I definitely recommend them for versatility and overall quality. Not only would I recommend these to a friend, but I'd even recommend them to a perfect stranger.
