The day after I got them, I wore these on some 3rd and 4th class scrambling up Mt Quandry. There was some minimal break-in, but a good fit right out of the box. While hiking, they weren't bad; I wish the rubber was a little stickier, and the edging ability really isn't something to get excited about. But overall, I was pretty happy with them (they breathe fairly well). I've been wearing them to crags, which has been much nicer than my heavy hiking boots.
