I've used these boots day hiking, and on two backpacking trips in the Whites of NH where the trails are always muddy, slippery with wet rocks, and a lot of rock hopping above treeline. I was impressed with the comfort and never have had blisters. Great boot for the price. A guide friend said La Sportiva is the best and I'll always trust that advice from now on!

I originally purchased this boot as a day hiker, but found the boot to have plenty of backbone and support for longer hikes with fairly heavy gear. The breaks in easy and wears great. I have taken the boot all over the world and have no complaints, except Sprotiva has decided to discontinue this boot.
