I just got these a couple months ago, and they are great. I just started climbing this winter, so I haven't been out of the gym yet, but these shoes perform extremely well. For the first week or so, they were pretty rough on my feet, but after that they were fine. I would recommend getting a half size down from your street shoe, I wear 11's and I got 10's in these.
This shoe is not only the most comfortable shoe I have ever tried on, it provides more grip then any other shoe I have ever used. The difference in grip between this shoe and some others could be compared to climbing in boots versus a cheap pair of climbing shoes. I highly recommend this shoe. The only down side is the shoe only lasted me about three months of climbing two to three days a week outside on basalt.
This is a great shoe. I had them before and have gone through several other shoes since and I feel most comfortable in this one. Climbing shoes, however, are a very personal business. These are not significantly turned at the toe, which suits me. I consider these my good shoes, when I need an edge on slab or need a shoes that digs and creates a more dynamic movement, but for me, these are also super comfortable. Easy on off and nice fit in the heal. Down side is, from my last pair, they will end up smelling pretty funky--maybe these won't and that is improved, but I prefer that to using leather. This is a great shoe--and cool looking too.
I owned a pair for 9 months and needed 2 resoles. However, I was mostly climbing indoors.
bought as an everyday, long-route shoe. quite comfy but had to upsize 1 full size. performs very well - sole sticky and good control; smears great. edged well at first but wore off after about 4 months of regular use. not a top notch high grade / boulder shoe. buy it for the right reasons and you won't be disappointed.
great product. smears the hell outta anything
