This is my first pair of Chacos so it took a bit to get them adjusted. After that they feel good, have great traction, and will not slip off. The only issue I have with them is that after wearing them for awhile my left foot starts to rub near where the strap on the outside comes up past the arch.

Hike in them, scramble in them, aproach in them, every day in them. The have great traction due to the stealth climbing rubber they put on the soles. Make sure you get the "Stealth ZX/2" not just the ZX/2.

Chacos are the only shoes i wear
