I knew a lot of people, mostly girls that had these, and since I love my other Tevas I thought why not. I'm extremely happy with my purchase. These are the most light weight and unbelievably comfortable flip flops I have ever owned. They can absorb a water, but that's what river sandal cousins are for. If I'm just walking around town or laying in the hammock these are my top choice.
