feels a tad larger than my usual size. could have gone 1/2 size down for a more snug fit, but they are super comfy and stable as is.
Good build quality with lots of extra rubber around the toe.
good lacing system
This is the second pair I have owned and they are great shoes for many uses. My second pair is slightly smaller than the first which is strange. Pretty sure my feet didn't grow!
Great fitting shoe. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for approach shoes.
I use this shoe as my primary canyoneering shoe. The traction is exceptional and even seems to get better when whet. The shoe has poor drainage so the shoe will get soggy and heavy if you take them into wet canyons, typically best suited for dryer canyons where you have one or two obsticles of water. For all day wet canyoneering Five Ten makes and superb Canyoneering shoe specifically for this.
I have been thru many canyons that got my feet wet and though they this shoe will take a long time to dry it was still comfortable and has dried out and retained its size and shape without splitting or other signs of destruction.
The sole does wear quickly but I would rather have it this way than less traction when I'm stemming 30ft off the deck.
A little to heavy for my freerunning applications. I will go with the Savants in the future.
Great product, I will but a new pair every six months as long as they are available. Fits great with my orthodics. Super traction and comfort!
I even wear them golfing.
Usually wear a size 11.5 C but could probably get by with an 11 in this shoe. Also seems to be suited for a wider foot. Comfortable out of the box with amazing traction. Heel cup is stable and stiff but shoe does not slip on heel at all when wearing thin running socks. I will most likely add an insole for better arch support, but the native insole isn't bad at all.
I really like the shoe. I will buy Five Ten again.
