  • The motion control dual density EVA midsole saves joint wear whether logging weekly miles on ice, gravel or asphalt
  • The waterproof breathable BUGdri upper membrane keeps moisture from penetrating your shoes, while still allowing self-created moisture to escape
  • Rubber outsole grips like other running shoes - for outdoor use only

While recovering from a knee injury I slipped on an icy sidewalk and broke a rib. I tried a strap-on shoe ice friction device and it really messed up my knee function. I needed a stable, dry non-slip shoe for around town use during winter, 'cause the last thing you want with a broken rib is a fall and more pain. The Ice Bug has worked perfectly as an outdoor only shoe, except for some minor snow clumping. I can't wait to use them on spring snow approaches.

I live in Nome,AK and have run trails from Arizona to Alaska, these shoes are amazing on the tundra. I average around 6 min/mile on my runs, and the shoes are comfortable and amazingly keep my feet so dry on the tundra even with the hidden tundra pools lurking behind every reindeer herd. The stability of the shoe is great with a stiff arch. Motion control is moderate, great for a mild pronator. I would recommend this shoe for a light to medium weight runner with low to medium arches, looking to get into some trouble and having a shoe that will help get you out. Amazing!
