I haven't trail run in a while, but I'm in good shape...they feel pretty nice right out of the box. Felt light and breathable to me, but again I'm not an expert at running. My feet feel good so far.

These are great shoes. The only drawback is the insoles. I added a penguin insert to get more cushion on my heel. That's my only knock on an otherwise perfect fitting product.
