This light hiking shoe completes the ultra light package! I like to hike fast and light, but wanted a shoe thats waterproof. I have tried a number of trail runners for ultralight hiking and none of them compare to this shoe in comfort.

By Pirate-XVerified Purchaser from Moscow, ID on 4/3/2006
Pros:
Comfortable, Good arch support, Good cushioning, Gore-Tex XCR adds 4- season reliability, Non-slip sole, Speed lacing system adds stealth mode, Stable
Best Uses:
Day hikes, Everyday, Great spring season mountain bike kicks, Wet weather

So far so good; spring trails on Olympic Peninsula-Slayed. Sloppy mountain bike singletrack-eaten up, then asked for seconds. You can trail run in the soggy morning hours, blast off the shoes with water (gore-tex here folks), then walk around downtown all day if need be. Great shoes, fun looks, good times.
