Great camping shoe. They felt very stable and gave great traction on the 5 mile hike in/out even with a 60+ lbs pack. I was able to have a foot mostly submerged while filtering H2O, thanks to the Gortex lining. They do wear a little on the warm side, and are not a summer shoe. They feel great, wear great, and look great.

I went all over the internet looking for decent shoes. [...] I have bought all sorts of hikers; priced from $300 to $100. I have always been a big fan of the Nike ACG hikers for about 10 years, but they're really hard to find. However, I like these just as much, if not better. They are light, comfortable, and feel like a pair you have been wearing right out of the box. Mountain Gear is the best price on the internet. I bought a whole bunch of stuff from them and got it all, on time, in perfect condition. [...]
Should have had these years ago

One of my backpacking buddies is on his 2nd pair
and raves about them. Found them at a great price
and decided to give them a try. Great shoe. Should
probably have bought a 2nd pair. Very comfortable.
I would buy this product again and again

Very rugged shoe...very comfortable...very water proof...keeps feet warm in cold weather down to around 20 degrees...perhaps to warm for hot summer days...after 6 months I also put some expensive inserts in and will get more wear out of the shoe...only problem:...if you walk across a wet sidewalk grate, you will slip if you are not carefull...outside of that great shoe!
No history yet but great shoe!

I just rcvd. these shoes but was impressed by the look and light weight of them right out of the box. After wearing them for just one weekend up at the cabin I can tell I'm going to like them very much. I'm even thinking about buying another pair right off the bat since I know I won't be able to find them when I'm ready in another year or two. So far I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I bought this runner for trail running, and found it to be the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever owned. I returned them for another pair just to make sure it wasn't the one faulty pair, but they were just as bad. Everyone is different with comfort.

More rugged than a sneaker. The Gore-tex liner allows you to wear it in all weather. I normally wear it everyday and find it comfortable in hot or cold weather. I liked it so much that I bought a second pair.
Great buy and will buy again.

I am training in these shoes for a cold weather 135 mile ultra marathon. I've got about 200 miles on them so far, so good. All the miles on them have been logged with pulling a pulk on snowy trails.

Used these shoes at Philmont Boy Scout Ranch. They were the best shoes I ever had. Living in the snow belt of NY I also use these in the winter with the gaitors attached, and in the the rain without. They are awesome for other scouting campouts as well.

Was hesitant to spring the [...] bucks on the shoe, however.... extremely comfortable, as well as stable. I think they are a great shoe for moderate hiking as well as off-road trail running. Great "approach" shoe in most aspects, but definately not a "hiking" shoe. If this shoe were used as a "hiking" shoe, or boot then it would probobly not last very long as would any other "trail running" shoe. Remember, it's a running shoe.
p.s. try the "hedgehog" by TNF if you want hiking durability :)

Pros:
Comfortable, Good arch support, Good cushioning
Cons:
Anti-odor footbed isn't, Holds internal moisture, Soles wore quickly, Squeaks
Best Uses:
Day hikes, Wet weather
My first pair of TNF shoes, didn't live up to their cost. I hike at least 3 times a week in them, and in less than 4 months, the soles are almost completely worn down. I had hoped for more mileage. Also, my feet sweat, so the AGIon anti-microbe/odor sounded great except it doesn't work. I have to pull out the footbeds after every hike and de-odorize manually. They are extremely comfortable and have great cushion, but the good points don't overcome the negatives. For the cost, I wasn't impressed. Won't buy another TNF shoe.
