Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

These are pretty cool low profile and quite stable running shoes. I got them as an extra pair on sale from TNF outlet store (sorry mgear). I ran a 4 mile trail in them the other day and they needed no break in. But like the other reviewer sort of noted these shoes fit more true to size (down a half size from the Arnuva 50's i.e. a size ten fits like a 10.5 Arnuva) than the Arnuva 50 running shoes which I usually run in. These have more fake leather and stuff then the Arnuvas so they are slightly less breathable, but perhaps more waterresistant and durable. One thing I like about them more than the other shoe is that they have a protection layer that is stiffer and protects against stone bruises, that is one of my complaints about the Arnuva's is that they are a little soft under the forefoot.

Big Shoe

I really cannot make comment in the different categories because I didn't get that far. The shoe is very wide and maybe even a little longer than The North Face shoes I was using previously (Arnuva 50 lace), which I really liked. I returned this shoe the same day.

Service & Delivery comments:

The shoes took a long time to ship but not because of Mountain Gear, but rather due to TNF. Mountain Gear was great in sending me emails updating on progress.
