I was worried when I knew winter was coming, because I knew I wouldn't be able to run with my dog during the winter months. A friend of mine mentioned these and that I should check them out. After seeing the low price, I figured what did I have to lose so I bought them. After stretching them onto the snows and heading out into the snow, I realized how right she was. They are hard to walk with on concrete, but they work wonderfully on snow!! It was like the snow wasn't there at all. They add a little bit of weight to the shoes, but not too bad. I have a couple other friends/neighbors who also have these and use them for the same purpose and love them as well! I totally recommend these to anyone!

The Lite versions are not super tough, but flexible and light weight. I use them over my felt-bottom wading shoes when I fly fish in streams. The extra traction is needed in moving water and on slippery rocks. Plus I can remove them when not needed, unlike spike-bottom wading shoes. If I break one, I can afford to replace them at this cost. Buy one size bigger then you would wear over shoes when used over wading boots.
