I use this interchangably as a trail running shoe and as an approach shoe, and for 3rd class scrambiling. It is light weight, great traction, and stable. I don't have to put on my climbing shoes when scrambling or down climbing 3rd class, given the vibram soles. For running, it's light weight and stable. I would certainly keep buying this shoe
These shoes are very comfortable and have great traction. I'm using them for trail running and hiking in the desert or rocky terrain. The only negative is the sizing--they run small. I usually wear a 10 1/2 in running shoes and I ordered an 11 in these--if they were even a hair smaller I would have returned them.

I bought these because La Sportiva no longer makes the Superfly, and I prefer light shoes with decent traction for long backcountry runs.
Good: Great traction, reasonably light shoe, relatively blister-free construction. Dries quickly, glissades and stream crosses nicely, and isn't bad for light bouldering.
Not-so-good: Although women's Slingshots are certainly sturdier and more cushioned than the Superfly, they simply don't work for trail running (for my particular feet, anyway). The low-volume, narrow forefoot of this model doesn't allow for forefoot expansion when my foot hits the ground--a set-up for plantar fasciitis and other injuries, particularly if the trail involves any steep grades. The shoe is also too short across the arch for my feet. Both of these problems can be slightly alleviated by removing the laces from the bottom and top eyelets and lacing only the middle three pairs of eyelets, but if you've got a taller foot or a wider forefoot (whether congenital or induced by plenty of running), it's probably best to look for a wider shoe that lets your feet do what they need to do to absorb shock while running.
Unbelievable that a shoe this light can be so functional. Sticky rubber makes them perfect for descent and long hikes with no weight. Stable and cool colors!
