These are interesting shoes. I bought them based on a review that stated they were excellent for cayoneering. They will be, I can agree with that. They have sticky rubber, a nice rand and a stable platform for edging. They would not be a great trail running shoe, though. Too stiff, and clunky. I will love them canyoneering, but for running I will stick with my Continental Divides.
These shoes are real cute and comfy. You definitely feel stable in them. [...]
I am on my fourth pair of these shoes. They are so comfortable and support your feet so well that I use them to work in since I stand up most of the day. I initially purchased them as an approach shoe and to use while canyoneering. They grip well on wet rocks and you can go for miles without getting a blister. The only drawback I experienced was that after getting them soaked in a canyon and allowing them to dry, they shrunk and I couldnt get my foot in comfortably. Since then I have purchased them a half size bigger.
