stainless steel bummer
By cory bobVerified Purchaser from germany on 4/27/2006
Pros:
solid
Cons:
uneven bottom causes cups to wobble
Best Uses:
picnicing

i was stoked when these bad boys came [...] the glue that held the rubber bottom to the cup was globbed on causing the cup to wobble...BUT, it's fixable with your own careful handywork...the stem of the cup is crooked... i didnt try to fix that b/c i didn't trust the solder at the base of the cup...in regress, i did buy the cup to drink from (in style)...and since I CAN in fact drink from it, I'd say i got everything i expected....

Cons:

After a hard days work, Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking, Mountaineering

There's nothing better than cracking open a bottle of wine and filling these goblets after a hard days work or climbing in the Utah canyonlands.

Absorbing the silence and watching a full moon rise while the sky turns from blue to pink to starry black along with a goblet in your hand...

These are the best!

Great wine glasses
By olgaVerified Purchaser from Robinson, IL on 2/15/2006
Pros:
Lightweight, Solid but elegant, Tough
Best Uses:
Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking

I bought the goblets for camping trips. Previously we had used plastic wine glasses, but eventually they cracked. The stainless steel goblets will last forever. And they are so delicately shaped that we use them at home too. They keep the wine at a cool temperature, plus won't break if one of the dogs knock them over.

By RelzyVerified Purchaser from North Bend, WA on 2/6/2006
Pros:
Elegant, Lightweight, Tough
Best Uses:
Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking

My Girlfrind and I went Snowshoeing and took the goblets along to have a tost of the nector of the gods (desert wine). After the wine and waiting out a bit of a snow storm I proposed to her.

The Goblets made it more memorable.

My husband suprised me with a pair of these goblets a couple of years ago. I loved them. They were so convenient to take just about any where and there was no fear of them breaking. Whenever I would use them people would alway comment what great goblets they are. We recently just bought four more so we can share our great find...and a goblet of wine.

Wine on the Trail
By Big MacVerified Purchaser from Marquette, Michigan on 1/31/2006
Pros:
Compact, Tough
Cons:
Slightly heavy
Best Uses:
Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking

We purchased a set of these goblets for our daughter and her husband for their first Valentine's day together. We have a set and they're perfect for camping and backpacking - rugged and unbreakable, but much more elegant than plastic. Also ordered two sets for the couples with whom we've been making an annual backpack trip to the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness park for over twenty years. Will make for more good memories.
