A dermatolgist recommended it as I had a rash in the genital area that had to be protected from urine 'drips'. I use it 99% of the time and carry it when I'm away from home. I've not tried using it on the LA freeway as one reviewer did, but I have left my share along interstate highways and in parking lots. I can also see the benefit of a longer tube for bed use or for those in wheelchairs who are fully dressed. It could easily be left inside one's slacks with the longer tube coming out by your cuff while outdoors. Just slip your hand in the elastic at your waist band and hold it tightly against yourself, but keep your feet out of the way.
Great when you have to use public rest rooms. Does not leak. Really easy to use. Would recommend it to all women to keep in their handbag!!!
Delivery & Service excellent. Thank you!
I think this product is great! It is easy to use, one doesn't have to be as "specific" in its use as another brand out there, and it can be a real "relief" for women who have to go!!! You can carry it in your pocket or backpack. However, I wish it had a better quality storage container to keep it in.
Freshette am I going to use on expeditions, and this thing is perfect! Now I can pee like a man in a bottle, and I don't have to get out of my sleepingbag and out the tent to pee. I've tested it sometimes inside in a regular wc and on mountain trips, and I'm only happy with it.

It is very easy to use, I would recomend this to every woman.
Works great in difficult places, ie the wilderness or countries where the norm is a turkish toilet.
This is one of the coolest items I carry in my pack. I have used it on many a day hike and climbing Rainier with a gang of guys while I was tied in on a precarious arete on Steamboat Prow. I just turned and faced away from the group and everything was copascetic. I have used it in my tent when the wind was positively howling outside at 2:00 a.m. Just dedicate a smallish polypro bottle and LABEL IT. You know..."pee bottle", and you are set. I have even used it by the side of the road on a screaming L.A. freeway. So discreet and no nasty public bathrooms. If you try this thing you will wonder how you ever got along without it.
I have very recently had kneecap replacement surgery and have found that using my new "Freshette" is a great assist in alleviating the bending of the healing knee and the consequent pain involved. It's a whole new marketing area for you to consider.
lightweight, easy to carry, really makes it easy for women to take care of business while camping or hiking.
Takes time to get out of package. Needs longer tube. Need an indicator to know if tube is secure. Leaks if not snapped in securely. Messy to store after use.
My knee landed on it at 17,000 ft in the tent and that's all she wrote. Also, if you have to pull down your pants to use it, what's the point.
Freshette is an outdoor gear essential.
It is almost perfect. I wish it fit in the pockets of all of my pants. Wild Roses Yampa pant has the perfect pocket on the side of the leg.
I fly with mostly an all male crew and I just have to say that this little guy has saved me from some embarassing moments!
