I will never use or buy a traditional torch again! I've never liked the "feel" of head torches until I discovered this little mini version! It's so light you forget it's even there! And the clip & variable angle adjustment makes it a brilliant reading light for camping!

This is a great light to stuff in a day pack for those just in case times when you stay out longer than the sun , I have used it as my primary headlamp and it works good for that , I like it as my back up because it's light and compact so keeping it in my pocket or deep in my back pack is not a waste of space or weight

Upon seeing this in the shipping box, my girlfriend immediately claimed it as her own, declaring it perfect for running (lightweight, adjustable beam with red or white strobe, rock steady on her head without being uncomfortably tight, or clips to a hat brim). I haven't seen it since, but I can't complain--she has great taste.

I carry one of these in my everyday jacket and one in my bookbag. I probably use it at least 3 times a day. It's so small that you forget you've got it on until you blind someone with it. It'll stand on its own or clip to a hat brim...it's perfect.

A very good product. It's bright and light weight with worthwhile varied functions, attachment means, and it works well as a backup and on it's own within a 20 foot or so radius. Even the carry case is well thought out and has room for a spare set of 2032's.

This product is how it was described by Petzl. You just cant put a pricetag on lightweight, high performance gear. I bout this item to serve as a backup while mountaineering in case I, lost my headlamp or the bulb goes out on me. I know most people would say you should have spare headlamp bulbs but what good are they if you lose the whole headlamp. This is another headlamp you can carry without adding much weight. Great for jogging at night too as it features a red strobe

the e+LITE is great
By TurkishVerified Purchaser from Dublin,CA on 6/8/2007
Pros:
Adjustable Beam, Bright, Compact
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The e+LITE is great. I put the casing on my beltloop when I hike and its small enough where it doesn't get in the way. Its easy to use and small; two things great for emergency lighting. The light isn't as good as other Petzl lights but its not bad either and is sufficient for things around camp. When I'm not outdoors I keep it in my glove compartment of my car as a backup light. I have recommended this to several of my friends already and they think that it is a great idea.
