Great organization, cool features (zippered pockets on the hipbelt, durable zipper pulls, the "cord lord", a form-fitting suspension system that wraps around you....BUT, don't overload it or you will be a very unhappy camper. I admittedly stretched this pack to its limit by taking it on a 6-day trip to Isle Royale and shoving 45 lbs into it. The pack strained under the load and the minimalist suspension system was very uncomfortable. Keep your loads under 40lbs and you'll be ok. I also question the durability (only time will tell) and the functionality of the "airspeed" mesh back panel. While designed to keep the pack off your back, thus improving air flow and keeping you cooler, when the pack is loaded down and you have the suspension snug, that hot air has nowhere to vent and made me just as sweaty - perhaps adding a vent to the side or the top would help.

I like the comfort camping just as much as anyone could. There is nothing better than sitting in my oversized camp chair with tons of snacks and beverages all around. My feet stretched out toward the large blazing fire and a pipe in my mouth full of Heavenly Gold Tobacco. However there is something to be said about a week long minimalist excursion, into the wild with only what I can carry on my back. This pack has just as much comfort as the daydream in the above mentioned. I must say that it would be nice to have a perfect pack but this one is as close as I can get. I absolutely love it. I feel I must mention that I carry a hammock to sleep in so there is definately an advantage as far as weight and capacity. My hammock weighs about .5 lbs

This pack was fantastic while climbing Ranier. This pack is very comfortable and is strong.. During a crevase drill that my rope team was practicing, an individual in my group lost his pack by the haul loop. Another individual with the same pack refused to do so with his pack, but I ventured on with my pack and it pulled through.. Not only do I like my pack but it is well worth the storage that is offered.

This pack re-difines backpacks. I have been doing this a real long time and so, when my Osprey Atmost 65 first hit the trail (heavy) I was waiting for the usual quirks and complaints that I usually have with every other brand pack that I have owned. Not one complaint, unusually comfortable with a heavy load and Osprey has really done their homework with adding the most important features to a good pack and leaving out the gimicks. This pack really spoiled me. So if my knees can hold out? It makes me feel that I can have another ten good years in the mountains!!

Just came back from a 3-day hike. I stuffed my bag full. 25+ pounds(couldn't get a good reading on the weight.)

It held all my junk. No straps broke or anything like that.

The Airspeed works great! My back was only a little wet after a couple mile, almost straight up hike. Can't say the same for my uncle who used a different brand backpack.

I've got to say, Osprey makes some great packs.
