Designed as Ed Viesturs' expedition tent, the Mountain Hardwear EV 2 single-wall tent is a bomber shelter that defies storms and heavy snow loads, all while weighing in at just under 6 pounds. You'll be protected from the weather by waterproof Conduit polyester and welded ceiling vents while you enjoy the safety and strength provided by the Atlas Scandium XL poles and Evolution Tension Arch.
  • Get durability from the Atlas Scandium XL poles that are heat treated for incredible strength and coupled with the Evolution Tension Arch that stabilizes the tent with fewer poles
  • Rain won't even get in at the ceiling vents which are welded to maintain a completely waterproof rating while providing necessary air circulation
  • Made with the climber in mind, this trim design fits easily on onto narrow ledges and accommodates high-wind pitches with its clip set-up
  • Watch the weather from the integrated vestibule or through one of the 2 SVX windows
  • Be sure to zip up the watertight door zippers complete with welded zipper flaps and watertight pulls
  • Ready for harsh weather, the flysheet is constructed with Conduit FR fabric with VX02 and VX04 reinforcements and sports 5 welded, adjustable mesh vents and a zipper

narrow foot print does lend to a slightly cramped interior if you have to large adults, i.e. 6'2", or more; beyond that, it's great
