I purchased 3 of these harnesses for an up comming adventure race. my team has been practicing the climing and rappeling in these harnesses. They are comfortable, many gear loops, extreamly light weight and takes up little room in your packs. I do not like the adjustment buckles, they are very hard to get adjusted (very stiff and tight). Even after many climbs they still are brutaly hard to adjust. this is my only draw back on the harness.

it is very comfy. i bought the medium and found that the waist barely fit and the legs were too loose, but my waist wont grow much and ill wear big pants. overall good though. wha-tcha gonna do. (the only reason i marked true to size was because it was kind of in the middle, parts were big and parts were small)

Quality harness; be careful about sizing

I bought a large because my waist is a size 34, but I have the leg loops as tight as they can go but they are still a bit too loose, and my legs aren't even that skinny. But everything else about the harness is great. I would simply recommend to potential buyers: if your waist falls right between sizes, go with the smaller.

This harness has an excellent fit and is comfortable at the gym or on longer routes. In the last 2 yrs or so I've used it top roping and sport climbing, and it is great for both. If you're into the super fast stuff this might be a little on the heavy side for you. I even wore it for six hours straight at an indoor comp recently it was fine.

I can fit about 6 draws per gear loop and they sit well around my waist so it's easy to pull a biner off the back loops. I switched from a Petzl harness, and I still like the Petzl-back system of double backing better.

Put a full day of sport climbing on this harness after getting it in the mail-- it did great. It's comfortable, simple to get on and off, and nice gear loops. For the price you can't beat it with a stick, and if you did, it would still hold up.

used it for a trip to rumney (sport climbing) and thought it was great. I don't think you could use it to trad climb, not enough gear loops, but I thought the gear loops were great for sport.

Overall a great harness. I've only been climbing for 3 months but it hasn't failed me yet. The loops help a lot! My previous harness didn't have loops and it was a pain to climb with quick draws and cams hanging down but with the loops it's fast and easy to snap on and off.

Nice Haress at a good price
By Hooked....Verified Purchaser from Atlanta on 12/5/2006
Sizing:
Leg loops are large, Waist Belt - true to size
Pros:
Comfortable, Durable, Leg loops are comfortable, Simple
Cons:
Gear loops are small
Best Uses:
Indoor climbing, Outdoor climbing

The harness is very comfortable, the waist belt is true to size. The leg loop sizing is fine for winter gear but indoor there is less ability to tighten the leg loops.

Good Buy For The Money

Pros:
Durable, Moves with you, Simple
Cons:
Difficult to put on
Best Uses:

Pretty good starter harness, cheap for the quality. Have used on gym, trad and sport routes. Loops are a little small for a big trad rack. Buckle is a little tricky to fasten.

Comfy, all-purpose harness
By JPVerified Purchaser from Auburn, AL on 7/20/2006
Pros:
Adjustable leg loops, affordable, Comfortable, Durable, Velcro strap is nice
Cons:
Threaded belt buckle
Best Uses:
All around, Casual, Extreme conditions

The velcro strap is nice in that it holds the harness taught while you thread through the buckle. However, I've used harnesses that were a bit easier to manage. Overall, very good harness.

Wow!
By MVVerified Purchaser from New Hampshire on 2/1/2006
Pros:
Comfortable, Durable, Simple, Wide range (ice to gym)
Best Uses:
Extreme conditions

This is a really good piece of gear. I can wear it with a pair of shorts and t-shirt in the gym, or pull it over lots of layers for climbing ice (you need lots of layers here in NH). Design is simple and easy to put on. As a FAA Master Parachute repairman, I am picky-picky-picky.............this is a good piece of gear. After a 25 year layoff from climbing, it's amazing how things have changed.

"Just the right tool for the job"
By Big TVerified Purchaser from Portage, MI on 1/21/2006
Pros:
Comfortable, Durable, Simple
Best Uses:
Casual

so far i have only used my harness in the gym but have been very satisfied. I plan on taking it down south with me once it warms up and giving it a real test but i'm sure it will stand up. the only thing that could be a little better is the gear loops are a little small if you are hauling a whole trad rack. Overall this is a great harness for the money.
