Use it in alpine draws which are lighter than my sport draws becasue of this sling. Extremly skinny which allows you to work with them with ease and efficency.

These slings are great. Light and strong. The only drawback with Dyneema is that it doesn't hold knots very well. This is a great product without a doubt.

By velorickVerified Purchaser from Montana on 6/13/2008
Pros:
Lightweight
Cons:
Some fraying after 5 uses
Best Uses:
Alping and Trad
Describe Yourself:

Very light and they do not take up a lot of room. Works great with an alpine quickdraw. I don't know how durable they will be. I am guessing if you get 2-3 years out of them be happy.

Best invention since duct tape
By Brian the MarmotVerified Purchaser from Spokane, WA on 6/2/2008
Pros:
Durable, Good UV resistance, Lightweight, Strong
Best Uses:
Long Climbs, Outdoor
Describe Yourself:
Avid Climber
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Probably my favorite piece of climbing equipment (besides my rope). These slings are incredibly light, so I don't really notice them on my rack until I need them. They're a bit more expensive than other slings, but I think that the benefit of Dyneema outweighs (or underweighs, depending on your perspective) other materials.

Light & Durable
By Steve LarsonVerified Reviewer from Glendale, CA on 1/19/2007
Pros:
Durable, Lightweight, Strong
Cons:
More expensive than nylon
Best Uses:
All climbing
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I've been using these for two seasons now, and they have held up very well. I love the light weight and low bulk. I agree that the seqn section is stiff, but all sewn slings suffer from this, so I don't think it's a discriminator.

Can't be beaten
By Another CO mtn. guyVerified Purchaser from Lakewood, CO on 10/4/2006
Pros:
Good UV resistance, Light and strong

What can be said? Super-light, super-strong, these are unbeatable. Haven't used enough to assess how fraying compares to other sewn Dyneema runners, but have less surface area to be frayed so that's probably a plus

This product is a great replacement for 9/16 nylon slings. Much less bulk & weight.
