I have a small head and often have trouble finding a well fitting helmet. The Vario does seem a tiny bit smaller than the description says, but that's OK. It fits perfectly with the larger of the 2 sets of padding installed. Not too tight, not too loose.
I like the ear covers too, they're comfortable but still allow adequate hearing.

Got two of them on sale. Not quite as nice as some of the other more expensive ones, but protects your head all the same. Taken a few spills and not felt a thing.

I will use the helmet for various activities to include recreational climbing and rappelling. I also am an avid high country hiker and skier. I like the fit and it was a good buy on sale.

i have a hard time finding helmets that fit well and this one fits just great. i like the back of the head protection,along with the removable ear covers.like the mesh covered vent holes too.
