Good versatile boot

Best Uses:

Bottom Line:

Excellent, versatile boot for the right ski-binding set up. I use mine with Fischer Rebound Crown Skis and Vole 3 pin - cable bindings. Without the cables they're great for general touring and kick & glide on a good surface. Add skins and the binding's heel lifts and they're comfortable for steep climbing. With the cables they perform very well downhill. I can ski just about anything on this combination, and love it. It's very easy to put the cables on after the uphill before going down. Not ideal for the really steep and deep, but doable on anything. And even reasonably comfortable for walking.

Just OK

Pros:
Comfortable
Cons:
Flimsy

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This boot is too light for the back country and yet the strap around the top makes it uncomfortable for lighter touring. I wouldn't buy these again.
